Data deletion instructions

How to have your data deleted from iSales, including data that reached iSales through Facebook, Instagram or Google, and how to disconnect Facebook or Google from iSales. iSales is a product of Indrajeet's iQuanta Edu Services Private Limited.

In short

Email info@iquanta.in with the subject “Data deletion request”, your name, and the phone number or email you used. We confirm within 7 days. Within 30 days we tell you what has been done: what we deleted, or, for data a business holds, where your request stands with that business.

Ask us by email

Anyone can ask us to delete their data. Email info@iquanta.in with the subject “Data deletion request” and include:

  • your name;
  • the phone number and email address you used, since that is how we find your records;
  • the business or institute you dealt with, if you know it;
  • whether your details reached that business through a Facebook, Instagram or Google ad form; and
  • what you want deleted, if not everything.

If you can, send it from the email address linked to your data. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act, so that nobody else can delete your data.

We will confirm that we have received your request within 7 days. Within 30 days, we will tell you what has been done: what we deleted, or, for data a business holds, where your request stands with that business and why.

If you enquired with a business that uses iSales

If you filled in an enquiry form, a Facebook or Instagram lead form, or a Google ad form for a coaching institute or another business that uses iSales, that business controls your data in iSales. We store and process it on the business’s behalf. To have it deleted:

  • Ask the business directly. Erasing a lead cannot yet be started from iSales’ own screens, so the business asks us to raise an erasure request in its account, and its admin then approves and completes it.
  • Or email us, as described above. We will find the records that match your phone number or email, forward your request to each business that holds them, and help it erase your details. Once we have confirmed your identity, we will tell you which businesses we forwarded it to, so you can follow up with them.
  • To stop messages straight away: if the business messages you on WhatsApp through iSales, reply “STOP”. iSales then blocks further messages to you from that business.

When a lead is erased, iSales replaces the name with “Erased”; removes the phone number, email, city, state, custom fields, tags, ad click identifiers, landing page and referrer; removes the IP address and device details recorded with each enquiry, and the person’s details in intake logs and payment records; and blocks further calls and messages. A record with these contact details removed stays, so the business’s reports still add up. Erasure does not remove the content of past messages, call records and notes, consent records, any location recorded on a field visit, or the ad platform’s ID for a lead from a Facebook, Instagram or Google form; the business can ask us to remove those, and we will.

If you use iSales at work

  • You can change your name and phone number, and change or remove your profile photo, in Settings → My profile.
  • Your organisation’s admin can disable your account. That ends your access and signs you out on every device. Records of your work, such as notes and calls on leads, stay with your organisation.
  • If your organisation uses face check-in, an admin can reset yours in Settings → Attendance, in the face check-in section. That deletes your face photos and face templates. Turning face check-in off or disabling your account does not delete them by itself.
  • To have your account details deleted, ask your admin or email us. We will delete or anonymise them, except records your organisation needs to keep (such as who handled which lead) and anything the law requires us to keep, and tell you what was kept and why.

If you connected Facebook to iSales

Organisations connect their Facebook Pages and ad accounts to iSales through our Meta app, “iSales CRM”, to receive leads from their lead ads and see their ad spend. To remove the connection and its data:

  1. In iSales: an admin opens Settings → Apps → Meta Ads and chooses Disconnect. This deletes the access token iSales stored for Facebook and the lead form choices, and stops all importing of leads and ad spend.
  2. In Facebook: go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or Apps and websites), find “iSales CRM” and remove it. This ends iSales’ access to your Facebook account and Pages. Disconnecting in iSales does not do this for you.
  3. Imported leads and spend: leads and spend figures imported before you disconnected stay in your iSales account as your organisation’s records until you have the leads erased or ask us to delete them. For either, email us (see For admins). Deleting a lead in iSales only hides it; the record stays.

iSales stores only what our privacy policy lists for this connection. It never reads personal profiles, friends, posts or messages.

If you connected Google Ads to iSales

  1. In iSales: an admin opens Settings → Apps → Google Ads and chooses Disconnect. This deletes the token iSales stored for Google and stops all importing.
  2. In Google: remove iSales from your Google Account’s third-party connections at myaccount.google.com/connections.
  3. Imported leads and spend stay in your iSales account until you have the leads erased or ask us to delete them; email us for either. Deleting a lead in iSales only hides it; the record stays.

For admins: deleting data in iSales

  • Leads. Deleting leads (select them in Leads, then Delete) hides them from every view, but does not erase them. Erasing a lead’s personal details cannot yet be started from iSales’ own screens: email us the leads to erase, and we raise an erasure request for each. An admin then approves and completes it in Settings → Erasure requests; the person who approves must be different from the one who raised it.
  • Users. Disable an account in Settings → Users. To have a user’s details deleted, email us.
  • Face check-in data. Reset a person’s face check-in in Settings → Attendance.
  • Connected apps and API keys. Disconnect apps in Settings → Apps, and revoke API keys in Settings → API keys.
  • Your whole account. Email us from an admin’s email address. We will confirm the request, give you the chance to export your leads (Leads → Export), then delete your organisation’s data from our live systems without undue delay, and tell you when it is done.

What may remain after deletion

  • An erased lead keeps a record with its contact details removed, and a note that it was erased, so reports still add up. The linked records listed above stay until the business asks us to remove them.
  • Records the law requires us to keep, such as our invoices to customers.
  • A record of your request and what we did about it.
  • Copies in our database provider’s backups, which disappear as those backups are replaced.
